It is with great sadness that the Club has been informed that Paddy Delaney has passed away having lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. Paddy was a great friend to many and was well known around the Sussex community, both for his rugby and for being the character that he was. A great man, whose life has enriched the many.
Paddy played rugby for the love of playing rugby and was equally at home in a Lewes, Brighton, or other club shirt - just to get onto the field and play.
This tribute to him, written by his wife says everything. It can be read at https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=4476884628992616&id=100000133688067&sfnsn=scwspwa
Everyones thoughts, best wishes and deepest heartfelt sympathy are with his young family.
Any donations are kindly requested to be made to The Martlets Hospice.
