As some of you may already know, in May, Noah Rees suffered an accident that has left him with life changing brain injuries.

This is a tragic story of a very popular lad who went to Cardinal Newman School and played for Hove – he played from 7 years old in many tightly contested matches with Brighton. Noah was amazing, never losing sight of sportsmanship and good grace in winning and losing. My abiding memory of him was his ability to call all the Brighton boys by their first name as he shook their hands at the end and said ‘well done you played really well’.As many of the Brighton boys were his friends through school and rugby I thought you would all like the opportunity to show our support.

On Saturday 31st August, his family are holding a fund raising event at Hove Rugby Club

The event starts at 12.00 pm midday and there will be lots of fun and games, food, music and some rugby!

If you are not able to attend, you can show you support by making a donation.

Below are links to an Instagram page set up so people can monitor his progress and a fund raising page.
