What a weekend to remember for some of our incredible Boas squad, who travelled to the Isle of Wight and came home not only with dusty boots and huge smiles - but with the Cup Final Trophy in hand!
The tour kicked off with a VERY early Saturday morning ferry crossing, filled with laughter, excitement, and the usual debates over who packed the most snacks. Donning our new Boas tour t-shirts, the Spirits were high as the girls settled into their accommodation, buzzing with anticipation for the weekend ahead.
A short car journey to the festival, and the team showed up ready for action. From the very first whistle, it was clear they meant business. The girls stormed on to the pitch with energy, teamwork, and fearless tackling. Every player gave 110%, and the sideline support from coaches, parents, and teammates was electric.
In a thrilling and hard-fought final match on Sunday, they kept their cool, played smart rugby, that sealed a draw with a try that had everyone cheering, after the tough win on the Saturday, that final whistle brought cheers, hugs, and a few happy tears - it was a moment none of us will forget.
After the trophy lift (and plenty of photos), the celebrations continued with a few surprise awards from the coaches.
Sunday afternoon saw some sleepy but very happy faces as we made our way home, trophy in tow and memories to last a lifetime. This group of girls showed incredible spirit, teamwork, and heart all weekend long - and they did it with true rugby pride.
