Joel has become a key leader at the club both on and off the pitch since joining. He takes over from Will Smith who has done an outstanding job as club captain over the last 4 years. Will led the club to promotion to London 1 and the Intermediate Cup win at Twickenham in 2013. Will is going to be out of action for a while yet due to repeated concussion. Whilst he goes through the necessary protocol, he is going to be joining the clubs coaching team.
