Blues put out 1 team in the Brighton Festival through holiday and other unavailability, so it was always going to be a tough day for the Blues...however, the players gave it their all and a great day out was had by everyone.

Blues were drawn against;

1. Hove
2. East Grinstead
3. Haywards Heath
4. Warlingham

First up was East Grinstead; first half 4-4, second half we went up a gear and won 10-5, happy days!

Warlingham were next and we cruised past them 7-3.

Then came Hove and it was a close game but we triumphed 6-5.

Into the final we went, only to come up against "our Everest", Rosslyn Park; they have 60 kids in their u8's, we have 14. They ran out winners 9-4 and were just that bit too good.

Great day all round, and the most important thing of all was that the kids absolutely loved it!
