The U10s tournament saw 8 teams from Brighton, East Grinstead, Hayward's Heath, Hove, Pulborough, Rosslyn Park, Warlingham and Worthing compete for the cup and plate. In a thoroughly good natured tournament, all of the clubs did themselves proud, playing hard and respecting opposition and referees alike.
Brighton progressed to the cup semi final, but despite winning more than their share of loose ball they struggled to make space against county champions Hayward's Heath. So in perfect autumn sunshine, most players stayed on to watch a nail biting final, with Rosslyn Park and Haywards Heath perfectly matched until the last minute, when Park managed to move the ball fast enough to reach an unopposed winger to win 1-0.
A thrilling end to a thoroughly well organised day.
