As part of the Brighton Blues community engagement program, the Club is working with the Active for Life team from Brighton and Hove City Council to support the Take Part Festival being held this Saturday on the large grass area at the bottom of The Avenue, just off of Lewes road. The Festival is being run to introduce 4 to 8 year olds from the area to take part in and play tag rugby. A number of people from the area have been asking about rugby opportunities in the local vicinity and with the Take part Festival and the rugby world cup on Moulsecoombs doorstep, the Active for Life team are focusing on delivery with the Blues. Anyone can take part and join in and for those interested we hope that they can join the Blues for pre-season, ready to play over the 2015-16 season. Running from 1100 – 1300 on Saturday, the Blues and the Active for Life team hope to see you there.
