The club is located in a superb setting on the South Downs with stunning panoramic views over Waterhall Valley which has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. It lies to the north of the city of Brighton yet is close to the A23/A27 junction for ease of access and there is plenty of free parking.

The club was founded in 1868 making it one of the oldest rugby clubs in the world. The clubhouse and grounds were relocated to Waterhall Valley in 1992. We have a modern two storey clubhouse with sports changing and shower facilities on the lower floor and a large bar/conference/party area and small meeting room on the upper floor.

Adjacent to the clubhouse are four full-sized grass rugby pitches and one full sized artificial pitch. The artificial pitch was constructed in November 2005 and has a superb third generation, all weather, rubber crumb surface with floodlights.

The clubhouse is available for hire and is suitable for hosting parties, weddings, charity fundraising events, corporate functions and conferences etc.

We have Sky TV, a fully licensed bar and catering facilities.
